Sod makes sense when you have sun, a working sprinkler system, and you want the feel of real grass. It is cheaper up front and it is what most front yards call for.

Turf makes sense in the spots where grass keeps losing. Deep shade under a mature tree. A narrow side yard. A dog run that gets torn up every spring. It costs more to install and nothing after that.

Plenty of yards use both. Real grass in the open areas, turf in the problem corners. We will walk the lot and tell you where the line falls.

Why Our Sod Takes
Strip and Prep
Old lawn comes out, soil gets amended and leveled. Laying sod over compacted clay is why lawns fail.
Lay and Roll
Tight staggered seams, rolled for soil contact, cut clean around beds and hardscape.
Water Schedule
You leave with a specific watering schedule for the first three weeks. That window decides whether it takes.
SYNTHETIC TURF
Turf Is a Base Job
Turf is only as good as what is underneath it. We excavate, lay and compact a base, then install with proper seaming and infill so it does not ripple or pull at the edges. Drainage gets built into the base, which matters if the area sees runoff.

Done right, it handles Denver sun, snow load, and dogs. Done cheap, it wrinkles by the second season.
